Privacy Policy
Effective date: November 4, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Herssein Law Group (“the firm,” “we,” “us”), collects, uses, shares, and protects information through travelclaimdenied.com (the “Site”). By using the Site or submitting information through it, you agree to this policy.
1. Who we are
Herssein Law Group is a law firm located at 1801 NE 123rd Street, Suite 314, North Miami, Florida 33181. You can reach us at (877) 317-2455 or claims@travelclaimdenied.com.
2. Information you give us
When you use the claim review form on the Site, we collect:
- Your name, email address, and phone number
- The name of your insurance company
- Why your claim was denied (the reason you select, and any explanation you type if you choose “Other”)
- The approximate amount of your claim, in U.S. dollars
- Files you upload, such as your denial letter or email (PDF, image, .eml/.msg, or Word file) and any photo you take with your phone’s camera
- Your consent choices: agreement to be contacted about your claim by phone or email, and agreement to receive documents and sign electronically
Uploaded documents may contain policy numbers, travel details, payment information, medical or health information, or information about other people traveling with you. Please send only what is needed for us to review the denial. We will ask for anything more if we need it.
We also collect the information you give us when you call or email us.
3. Information collected automatically
Campaign and referral information. If you arrive at the Site from an ad or link, the Site reads standard tracking values from the web address: UTM parameters (utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign, utm_term, utm_content) and ad click identifiers (gclid from Google and fbclid from Meta). The Site also notes the page address where you arrived and the website that referred you, if any. These values are kept in your browser’s session storage under the key “tcd_attr” and are sent with your form as hidden fields. Session storage is cleared when you close the browser tab or window. We use this information to understand which ads and links bring people to the Site.
Advertising tags. When enabled, the Site uses the Meta Pixel (from Meta Platforms, Inc.) and the Google Ads tag (from Google LLC). These tags load from Meta and Google and may set cookies or use similar technology to collect information such as your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you view, and actions on the Site, such as a page view, submitting the claim form, or tapping our phone number. We use this to measure and improve our advertising. The tags do not send the contents of your form (your name, contact details, claim details, or files) to Meta or Google. Meta and Google handle the information they collect under their own policies: Meta Privacy Policy and How Google uses information from sites that use its services.
Technical information. Like most websites, the services that host the Site and process the form may automatically record standard technical information, such as IP address, browser type, and the date and time of a visit, to deliver the Site and to prevent spam and abuse.
4. How we use information
- To review your claim and decide whether we can help, including running a conflict check
- To contact you about your claim by phone or email
- If we can help, to send you our engagement agreement and Statement of Client’s Rights to review and sign electronically
- If we are engaged, to represent you and pursue your claim
- To measure and improve our advertising and the Site
- To keep the Site secure and prevent spam or misuse
- To meet our legal and professional obligations
5. Confidentiality
We treat the information and files you submit as confidential. Submitting the form, calling, or emailing us does not by itself create an attorney-client relationship. A relationship begins only when the firm confirms in writing that it will represent you. See our Terms of Use and Legal Notice.
6. We do not sell your information
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We do not share your phone number or email address with anyone for their own marketing.
7. How we share information
We share information only as described here:
- Formspree. Our claim form is processed by Formspree, Inc., which receives and stores form submissions (including uploaded files) and delivers them to us. Formspree handles this information as our service provider. See the Formspree Privacy Policy.
- Our email and office systems. Submissions are delivered to the firm’s email and stored in our office systems, where they are available to firm lawyers and staff who need them.
- DocuSign. If we offer to represent you, we may send engagement documents for electronic signature through DocuSign, which processes your name, email address, and signature. See the DocuSign Privacy Notice.
- Meta and Google. When the advertising tags are enabled, Meta and Google collect technical and browsing information directly from your browser, as described above.
- Other service providers that help us run the Site or our practice, such as website hosting and IT support, who may use the information only to provide services to us.
- Insurers, courts, and others involved in your matter. If we represent you, we share information with insurers, courts, opposing parties, and others only as needed to pursue your claim.
- Legal requirements. When required by law, court order, or our professional obligations, or to protect the rights and safety of the firm or others.
8. How long we keep information
We keep your information as long as needed to review your inquiry and respond. If we do not take your matter, we keep a record of the inquiry for a reasonable period for conflict-check and recordkeeping purposes, and then delete it when it is no longer needed. If we represent you, your information becomes part of your client file and is kept in line with our professional obligations. Copies held by Formspree are kept under our Formspree account settings and are removed from Formspree once we no longer need them there.
9. How we protect information
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical measures to protect personal information, including encrypted (HTTPS) connections to the Site and limiting access to people who need it. Florida law (section 501.171, Florida Statutes) requires businesses to take reasonable measures to protect certain personal information and to give notice of certain data breaches; we follow those requirements. No website or email system is completely secure, so please do not send more sensitive information than we ask for.
10. Phone calls and email
By checking the contact box on our form, you agree that the firm may contact you about your claim by phone or email at the phone number and email address you provide. We do not send text messages. We contact you only about your inquiry or matter, and you may ask us at any time to stop contacting you.
11. Electronic documents and signatures
By checking the electronic-signature box on our form, you agree to receive documents from us and to sign them electronically. You may ask for a paper copy of any document, or withdraw this consent, by contacting us. See our Terms of Use and Legal Notice for details.
12. Your choices
- You may ask us to tell you what information we have about you, to correct it, or to delete it. We will respond within a reasonable time, subject to our legal and professional obligations.
- You may block or delete cookies in your browser settings. You can manage Google ad personalization at My Ad Center and Meta ad preferences in your Facebook or Instagram account settings.
- The Site does not respond to browser “Do Not Track” signals.
13. Children’s privacy
The Site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If a claim involves a minor traveler, a parent or guardian should contact us. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
14. Residents of other states
The firm is based in Florida. Some states give their residents additional privacy rights, which may or may not apply to the firm. Wherever you live, you may contact us with a privacy question or request, and we will respond within a reasonable time.
15. Links to other websites
The Site links to websites we do not control, such as Formspree, DocuSign, Meta, and Google. Their own privacy policies apply when you visit them.
16. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page and change the effective date above. Changes apply from the date they are posted.
